About Oklahoma Frontline

Oklahoma Frontline is a news publication dedicated to covering the Oklahoma National Guard — its citizen-soldiers, overseas deployments, domestic missions, and the community programs that connect the Guard to the Oklahomans it serves.

Our Mission

We believe the stories of Oklahoma’s citizen-soldiers deserve to be told with the depth and care they deserve. National Guard members are part-time service members who hold civilian jobs, raise families, and live in communities across Oklahoma — yet when called, they deploy alongside active-duty forces to some of the world’s most demanding environments. Oklahoma Frontline exists to tell those stories.

What We Cover

Our coverage includes overseas deployments and combat operations, homecoming ceremonies and veteran reintegration, community support programs for military families, veteran mental health and suicide prevention initiatives, partnerships between the military community and Oklahoma civic institutions, and logistics and supply chain resources relevant to military and civilian operations.

Our Standards

We are committed to accurate, fair, and balanced reporting. We clearly attribute all content to its original authors and distinguish between original reporting, contributed pieces from partner organizations, and content published in partnership with Guard public affairs offices. We do not publish speculation or unverified claims about personnel, missions, or military operations.
